What you get
Your flat monthly price stays the same whether your group plays for two hours or all weekend. No daily caps, no hourly billing, no credits that tick away while you are in the middle of a base build.
Add our bot to your server and use /status, /wake, /start and /stop in the channel your group already talks in. Join and death notices arrive there too. Every other host hands you a web panel and expects someone to keep the tab open.
Every world is ready for mods. Choose from our catalogue or request a Thunderstore package in your dashboard. For network-related lag or desync, our recommended first step is the server-side Network Performance System, including in Ashlands; it cannot fix every game, world-load or device performance issue. Approved releases sync automatically and worlds update when empty.
With Always On, Steam, Microsoft Store, Game Pass and Xbox console players all join the same server with one join code. Sleeper is PC (Steam) only: a sleeping world gets a new join code every time it wakes, so console players would lose it.
How we measure the service
A serious host should be judged on setup reliability, crossplay, saves, load, and support—not just storage labels and a low headline price. Here is what Bifrost supports today and what we will only claim after measuring on a live node.
New worlds include BepInEx support; older worlds enable it when you save your first mod selection. We pin approved Thunderstore versions and show client/server requirements.
Crossplay is a server setting, not a script-editing task. Steam, Microsoft Store, Game Pass, and Xbox players use the join code.
We do not publish an NVMe-versus-SSD number until it has been captured during an active save on a representative world.
Eight players, a Yagluth fight, and 30+ active mobs is the right load test. We are not presenting an unmeasured tick-rate promise as a guarantee.
Sleeper and Always On use Valheim’s standard limit of 10 players. Sleeper Plus and Always On Plus run Valheim Plus and raise the cap to 31 (PC only); that is a heavy configuration and may struggle under load.
When a pinned plugin breaks, send the log and mod coordinates to support. A human can inspect the failure and help return the world to a working configuration.
Important crossplay caveat: client-side BepInEx mods prevent Xbox and Game Pass players from connecting. Communities mixing platforms should use a server-side-compatible setup or choose vanilla crossplay.

Questions
Sleeper and Always On support up to 10 players. Sleeper Plus and Always On Plus raise the cap to 31 with Valheim Plus (PC only); large groups should expect simulation strain, because Valheim was not built for that many players.
Not when the setup requires client-side BepInEx. Xbox and Game Pass players cannot connect to client-modded worlds, so mixed-platform groups should use vanilla crossplay or a server-side-compatible mod setup.
Yes. We operate low-ping servers with typical latency under 30ms across much of central Europe.
Usually not. Valheim simulation can run on a player's machine for an area, so a weak client can cause stuttering even when ping to the server looks low. Restarting the client (the game) or changing who's in the area typically resolves it.
Yes. Every world has BepInEx ready. Choose from our catalogue in your dashboard and we stage the files on your server. Once approved, mods follow their authors’ latest releases automatically when the world is empty. Client requirements depend on the mod. Network Performance System runs server-side with vanilla clients.
Yes. Provide the world files (.db and .fwl) and we install them before your server first starts.
Game files are already on our machines, so there's no download step during setup — you'll get an email the moment your world is ready to join.
